This website has been initiated by the organizers of European Ecotourism Conference 2010 . The first such conference took place in Pärnu, Estonia 26.- 30. of September 2010. On this website you will find information on the conference and about travelling to Estonia.

Conferences are great! It is fun to meet in person with people with similar interests, but such meetings have limitations as well:

• Only a limited number of people can attend the conference.
• Conferences often tend to be isolated events and have little impact on real life.

So, we decided to initiate European Ecotourism Conversations, as a parallel initiative. Anyone is welcome to join! Conversations are held online (facebook, linkedin, twitter, flick, youtube) and aim  to:

• Engage all interested stakeholders in relevant discussions,

• Provide a platform to share stories and offer input on topics of Ecotourism in Europe.

This website will bring together all these conversations from many platforms.

Part of the website is the European Ecotourism Directory, where we try to map existing organizations, associations, universities and other relevant ecotourism stakeholders. Listing in the Directory is free of charge, contact us to add yours!
