Reflections on the European Ecotourism Conference recorded in Soomaa National Park in early October 2010 PAN Park Borjomi-Kharagauli is hosting this year’s Europe’s Wilderness Days, the annual conference of the PAN Parks Foundation which is a unique event bringing together people dedicated to European wilderness protection. The ninth conference in a row – is to be held between 4-8 September 2010 in Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, Georgia. Bulgarian Central Balkan National Park keeps up high standards of wilderness conservation and is one the best European wilderness areas – this is the outcome of the international monitoring carried out in the Bulgarian PAN Park to assess the wilderness protection work done in the past few years.
