This year, the first European Ecotourism Conference (EETC) is starting a new tradition in the European travel scene – an annual gathering of experts, business leaders, and public and private stakeholders to encourage ongoing conversations about the current state of ecotourism development and future challenges and opportunities.
The EETC 2010 will be held in Pärnu, Estonia, from September 26-30, including pre- and post-conference tours to share Estonia’s local culture, natural beauty and rural traditions. Registration for the EETC 2010 is available at: http://www.european-ecotourism.com/registration/
This year’s EETC will focus on the theme, “Balancing Sustainability and Profitability,” addressing timely issues and challenges facing the ecotourism community in Europe and around the world. The conference program will utilize methods to engage participants in productive discussions, allowing everyone to actively participate in the knowledge sharing and learning experiences.
We hope you will be able to join us in Estonia in September, and be part of many of the on-site and online conversations before, during and after the conference.
